Menu Plan

I have never worried about a meal plan for when we go away as Dave and I just eat what we find available fresh from the local shops. But this holiday we are going to be 6 people on the barge and I need to think about what I will cook each day so I have jotted down some ideas and asked Greg for his help as well, as he is from that area. The cuisine is known locally as bourguignone.

  • fish pie
  • gnocchi with chorizo sauce
  • filled pasta with vegetable sauce
  • pasta with a shellfish sauce
  • beef bourguignone
  • coq a vin
  • oeuf meurate (poached egg garnished with red wine bourguignone sauce)
  • jambon persille
  • rabbit with mustard sauce
  • fondue bourguignone
  • andouillette de chablis
  • pain d’spices
